Given the sensitivity of the site — Cova da Iria / Fátima — our intention was for the building, as a whole, to result in a coherent composition and an appropriate extension of the space and the “spirit” of the place.

We therefore sought for the various elements that make up the building to express tensions among themselves, establishing a dynamic interior/exterior order organized around the central square (filled with natural light), which connects the interior pathways and opens onto the streets surrounding the building.
