A vibrant relationship between spaces and privacy were the main guidelines required by the client. Lighting and thermal performance, based on sustainable solutions, were also consistently emphasized in the program.

The demand for privacy stemmed from the presence of adjoining houses overlooking the plot, making it especially necessary around the pool area and on the upper floor, where the suites are located.

To address this, vegetation was planted along the perimeter of the site. In construction, vertical planes were designed to block unwanted views while still allowing natural light to enter.

To increase natural light permeability in one of the suites, the tiled roof was “interrupted” by a glass plane that allows light to fall onto the terrace and be reflected into the interior.

The house is organized across two floors. The roof is mixed — combining terraces and double-pitched clay tile — while the cladding materials range from exposed concrete on the base to plaster on the remaining surfaces.
