This project, never built, was commissioned as a prototype house for a residential development of approximately 5.6 hectares.

The client was made aware of the necessary adaptations to the layout and resulting design, essentially determined by solar orientation.

​

The relatively modest plot sizes (for the area) and security considerations led the architecture to close itself around a rear courtyard, where the leisure areas are located.

​

The choice of cladding materials was guided by ease and familiarity of application (plaster renders) and the use of stone imported from Namibia (white marble).
