The guiding idea of the project was the “treehouse,” which lives in every child’s imagination.
In this way, we sought to move away from existing stereotypes and propose a solution that is volumetrically vibrant and functionally simple, while respecting the harmonious development of children.
Scale was one of the aspects that most influenced both the exterior and interior design — from the definition of the entrance to the choice of ceiling heights, roofs, parapets, and more. At the same time, energy efficiency supported by passive architectural solutions, as well as the use of locally sourced materials, were carefully studied and applied.
In conclusion, life in the kindergarten revolves around the symbolism of the “treehouse,” which defines the entrance and visually permeates all spaces.
