Behind the conception of the “Alentejo Olive House” lies a concept rooted in nature, based on adapting Alentejo’s traditional customs and architecture to contemporary living.

The Alentejo Olive House behaves as both an open and enclosed box, rising from the ground and offering multiple experiences through “nooks and secrets” that are only revealed when exploring its interior.

From the outside, one perceives a balanced and harmonious relationship between the building, the surrounding vegetation, and neighboring houses, as well as with the scale of the site itself. The multiple gable roofs echo the traditional architecture of Alentejo houses and introduce a visual rhythm to the composition.
