This project proposes the creation of a residential complex designed for a senior population, with a total of 120 housing units of type T0 (studio apartments), complemented by support services such as meals, activities, medical care, laundry, and more.
The core concept of this project is essentially the creation of an environment that feels familiar to the elderly, while stimulating interaction with outdoor spaces and encouraging both physical and mental activity.
In design terms, this concept is expressed through the creation of an interior street defined by two longitudinal volumes, recreating the idea of the street and neighborhood environment in which the elderly have always lived.
The layout of the volumes on the site results from an analysis of the surroundings, which are characterized by two distinct realities: multi-family housing buildings of more than five stories to the north and east, and a cluster of two-story row houses to the west.
